Facts about our hotel & your stay

For guests staying in rooms 11, 12, 21, and 22, comfortable baby cots are available. You are welcome to use this additional service for an extra charge of €30.00.

Enjoy our breakfast buffet daily from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. For the best possible service, please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions, food intolerances, or allergies. This way, we can accommodate your individual needs. Breakfast is included in most room rates, depending on the booked rate.

If you need a taxi, feel free to contact us at the reception.

Note: Please be aware that taxis in Rothenburg are not continuously available and are rarely found in the city. Therefore, plan enough lead time to ensure you arrive at your destination on time.

Whether for breakfast or a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, our historic café is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the historic atmosphere. We are pleased to serve you light snacks and various coffee variations.

Your reservation will be held for you until 8:00 PM on the day of arrival. If you plan to arrive after this time, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance.

Cancellation conditions vary depending on the booked rate category and are outlined in your booking confirmation. For further information, we are at your disposal.

Check-in at Hotel Gotisches Haus is available between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Please inform us in advance if you plan to arrive outside of these hours.

You are welcome to store your luggage at the reception in advance.

Children under 5 years old sleep for free in their parents' room.

We kindly request that you vacate your room by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If you wish to check out later, please contact the reception in advance. You are welcome to store your luggage at the reception.

For checkouts after 11:00 AM, a fee of 10% of the room rate per hour will be charged. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

If you need information about doctors nearby, feel free to ask our reception. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

We are pleased to welcome your four-legged friends at an additional cost of €15.00 per night. Please note that your pet is not allowed on sofas, armchairs, or the bed. Additional costs for final cleaning may apply if necessary.

In Rothenburg, there are several charging stations available for electric cars. We would be happy to show you where you can find them.

We would be delighted to create gift vouchers for you. You can choose between two different designs: the standard motif or a Christmas motif. Additionally, you have the flexibility to determine the value of the voucher yourself.

We do not assume liability for lost items. However, upon request and at your expense, we are happy to send lost items back to you.

We are happy to take care of storing your luggage. If you need assistance with transportation, our reception is available to help you at any time.

In each room, you have access to a minibar. To reduce energy consumption, we have deactivated the minibar before your arrival. You can activate the minibar using the POWER SWITCH.

In our lobby, you will find a vending machine offering a selection of refreshing drinks and snacks 24/7 (Please note that card payment is the only accepted method).

Our hotel does not have its own parking facilities. However, you are welcome to stop in front of the hotel to load or unload your luggage. There are several public parking spaces available nearby. Unfortunately, advance reservations are not possible. However, during special events such as the Pfingstfestspiele (Pentecostal Festival) or Reichsstadttage (Imperial City Days) in the town of Rothenburg o.d.T., exceptions may apply.

If you need assistance in finding parking, we are happy to help you on-site. Additionally, we can issue a parking permit for a specific area of the Old Town. Currently, the fee is €20.00 for 24 hours.

Just a stone's throw away from our hotel, you will find the Marienapotheke. It is located approximately 50 meters away on the right side.

We kindly ask you to respect our property and inform us of any damages. In the case of damages caused by guests, we reserve the right to charge appropriate compensation.

We would like to emphasize that smoking in the rooms is strictly prohibited, except on the balconies of rooms #34 and #30, which are designated for smoking. An ashtray is also provided at the entrance door of the hotel. Please be aware that non-compliance may result in costly fire department interventions. In case of a violation (with or without the fire department), a fee of €80.00 will be charged.

For your valuables, the safe in your room is at your disposal. You can find the operating instructions directly on the safe. Alternatively, you can also securely store your valuables at the reception. Please note that we cannot accept liability for negligent behavior.

We are a strictly non-smoking hotel and kindly request you to adhere to this rule. This is not only out of consideration for other guests but also because our hotel is a historic half-timbered house. Our top priority is to minimize the potential fire risk while preserving the charm and safety of our building. Please be aware that non-compliance may result in costly fire department interventions. In case of a violation (with or without the fire department), a fee of €80.00 will be charged + any charges incurred by the fire department.

However, we do not want to entirely restrict you and therefore offer you the opportunity to smoke on the balconies (Room 30 and on the floor of Room 34) as well as in front of the hotel. Ashtrays are provided in these areas.

For our hotel and café guests, we offer free Wi-Fi at all times. However, we would like to remind you that respectful and legal use of the network is essential. Please be aware that unauthorized activities such as downloading copyrighted or illegal content are not allowed, as they are against the law.

To protect all guests, the network is monitored. We kindly ask you to use the Wi-Fi exclusively for legal purposes.
